How Do Businesses Participate
Love4Lyon Campaign Kickoff Kit for selected business:
- (1) Letter explaining the campaign and how the campaign works
- (1) 11” x 17” poster of “Show Your Love for Lyon” to be displayed in your front window
- (1) 8.5” x 11” small posters to be displayed at check out are or other location(s)
- (1) 24” x 9” corrugated board with the “Show Your Love for Lyon” logo on it
- (1) 8.5 x 11 poster explaining how to order T-shirts
- For restaurants and select retailers you will also receive “Shopped Local” or “Dined Local” stickers to give to your customers to wear
Participate in the T-shirt Sales and Face Mask Orders
The Love4Lyon Store is NOW OPEN! and we need you, to help us, help you!!
We have partnered with Big Frog to host our online store to make it easy for people to place custom shirt orders in the size, color, type and quantity they want. They can choose from men’s crew neck shirts, v-neck women’s shirts, and kid sizes as well as a long-sleeve shirt option. There is also an option to order face masks.
As a local business owner, you are invited to share your logo with Big Frog. Simply send an email to email@example.com stating you would like your logo included in the Love4Lyon campaign and then attach your logo file to the email and send. Easy! Your business name will then be included in a drop-down menu on the order form. People ordering “Show Your Love for Lyon” t-shirts will be given the option to choose a local business logo to go on the back of their shirt(s). There is no cost for the local business to participate AND you will benefit from brand exposure for your business.
For every t-shirt sold, $10.00 will be donated to the Lyon Business Area Taskforce with funds used to further promote the “Show Your Love for Lyon” marketing campaign. A survey was taken and the top priority noted by business owners what the need for marketing and advertising. This t-shirt sale not only helps to spread awareness of the marketing campaign but it will also help to generate funding needed for ongoing advertising and promotion. The taskforce has plans to expand this campaign and will keep our area business owners informed of upcoming promotions.
You have been given a flyer to post at your store to encourage t-shirt sales and we ask that you share the order link on your website and social media pages. (See example below). Don’t forget to include the #Love4Lyon. Here is the link: https://love4lyon.itemorder.com/sale
Commit to using the “Show Your Love for Lyon” board
This sturdy board can be used by your customers for selfie photos in your place of business. Either shopping or eating at an outdoor patio, encourage your customers to show their love by taking and posting a photo with the sign. This is a great way to build momentum for the campaign and to get people engaged. Train your employees to bring the sign to customers to ask if they would like to participate.
Ask your customers to use the hashtag #Love4Lyon
After a customer purchases one of your products, dines at your restaurant, or utilizes your services, you can ask them to share a photo on their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter account. This will get more online exposure for your business, which could result in additional sales as more people will want to show you their support.
The taskforce has issued press releases to news outlets informing them of our campaign. Also print advertising will appear in the Lyon Today magazine to help spread the word.

Using your intial supply of “Shopped Local” or “Dined Local” stickers, give them to your customers to wear.
Use of the Logo
As a business located in Lyon Township or the City of South Lyon or if you are member of the Kensington Valley Chamber, you have permission to use the “Show Your Love for Lyon” logo on your social media pages
