How do I report a street light problem?
Most street lights located in subdivisions are managed by HOAs.
Street lights located along roadways are managed by DTE.

Disconnect from a private well and connect to Township water service?
If you are currently connected to a private well and want to connect to the Lyon Township water system, please contact 248-437-2240. If a water line is near your residence or business location, the Township will conduct a review and provide information on the cost to connect and the quarterly water fees.

The Lyon Township Fire Department no longer requires burn permits for residential use for Lyon Township residents.
The burn guidelines that were on the previously-required application are still in effect and must be followed. The guidelines can be found here.
