Lyon Township taxes are paid at the township level until the delinquent taxes are turned over to Oakland County by the Township Treasurer.
This takes place on March 1st. At that point, a revised statement must
be obtained from the Lyon Township Treasurer's Office. It is then mailed
to Oakland County by the taxpayer.
For taxes payable at the township level, checks should be made payable
to Patricia D. Carcone, Treasurer. Payment can be mailed or brought to
the Township Hall at 58000 Grand River, New Hudson, MI 48165. If you wish to deliver payment while the Township Hall is closed, there is a drop box located on the circular drive in front of the building.
Please be advised that the Township cannot accept credit or debit cards.
To pay current or delinquent taxes online through Oakland County,
please visit this website: http://www.oakgov.com/paytaxes. There is
a fee involved, which is based on a percentage of the total amount of
the payment you are making.
If you have any questions, please call the Lyon Township Treasurer's
Office at 248-437-2240.
