Per Article 53.00 of the Lyon Township Zoning Ordinance, members of
the Planning Commission are appointed by the Township Supervisor with the approval of the Board of Trustees. Some of the responsibilities of the Planning Commission include formulation of the Zoning Ordinance and amendments, Site Plan Reviews, Special Land Use Reviews, Planned Development Reviews, and formulation of the Township's Master Plan.
