The last day to pay winter 2009 taxes without penalty is February 14, 2010. Payments may be made at the Treasurer's Office during the Township's normal business hours. If you are unable to come in while we are open, you may deposit your payment in the locked drop box located on the circular drive in front of the building. The drop box is checked daily when the office is open.
Since February 14th is on a Sunday, and the Township is closed on Monday the 15th, any payments that are in the drop box when we open at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 16th will be accepted without penalty.

Board of Trustees Meeting Date Changed
We would like to remind everyone that our regular February meeting date for the Lyon Township Board of Trustees has been changed. Instead of meeting on Monday, February 1st, the Board will meet tonight (Wednesday, February 10th). The meeting will be held at the normal time and in the normal location (7:00p at the Lyon Township Municipal Center). The agenda for tonight's meeting can be found here.
Planning Commission Meeting Date Changed
The regular February meeting date for the Lyon Township Planning Commission has been changed. Instead of meeting on Monday, February 8th, the Planning Commission will meet on Monday, February 15th.
