 Trick-or-Treating Hours Announced

 

The designated time for trick-or-treating in Lyon Township will be from 6:00p to 8:00p on Saturday, October 31st.  Happy Halloween!

 

 

 Fire Department Hosting Annual Halloween Party on October 30th

 

The Lyon Township Fire Department will be hosting their annual Halloween party on Friday, October 30th from 6:00p to 8:00p at Fire Station #1, located at 58800 Grand River Avenue in New Hudson.  There will be food, games, and treats.  For more information, please contact the Fire Department at 248-486-3775.

 

 

 Fire Department Open House Scheduled for October 25th 

 

The Lyon Township Fire Department is hosting an open house on Sunday, October 25th from 1:00p to 4:00p at Fire Station #1, located at 58800 Grand River Avenue in New Hudson.   There will be a smoke house, station tours, vehicle extrication, junior firefighter games, refreshments, and more. This event will also kick off the new Vial of Life program. Residents of all ages are encouraged to attend this day of fun and education. 

                                                                         

  

 Library and Community Center Grand Reopening Scheduled for October 27th 

 

The Lyon Township Public Library and Community Center is hosting a grand reopening celebration on Tuesday, October 27th from 5:00p to 8:00p.  There will be refreshments, tours, a puppet show, and a jazz concert.  

 

 

 Weatherization Assistance Program Available

 

The Oakland Livingston Human Service Agency (OLHSA) has received funding to provide home weatherization assistance for low income residents of Oakland County and Livingston County.  More details and an application can be found on their web site here.
