 First Movie Selection Announced
Kung Fu Panda has been selected as the first movie to kick off this summer's Movies in the Park series on Saturday, June 13th, at James F. Atchison Memorial Park. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to attend. Feel free to bring blankets, chairs, bug spray, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages. A concession stand will also be open for food and drink purchases. More free movies will be shown on every other Saturday throughout the summer. The remaining movie choices have yet to be announced. Information will be posted on http://www.lyontwp.org/movies as it becomes available.
Guidelines for Garage Sales
It's garage sale season! If you wish to host a garage sale in Lyon Township, you do not need to obtain a permit. All the Township asks is that your sale not last longer than three days and that any signage posted to advertise your sale is removed once your sale is over. Happy selling!
Trash Disposal in the Park
When visiting James F. Atchison Memorial Park, please make sure that you are properly taking care of your trash. There are trash bins and dumpsters available for you to use. If everyone picks up after themselves, it will help keep our park looking nice and clean and therefore be much more enjoyable for people. The Township greatly appreciates your assistance in this matter.
