If residents have cable television complaints, they should first contact
their cable provider. If the problem is not resolved, the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) should be contacted. Their web site can be found here. Once there, select the Video/Cable link from the menu on the left. The information there covers the MPSC's role in handling customer video/cable television complaints, how to file an informal complaint, and the requirements for filing a formal complaint.
If having problems, you may also wish to contact Ryan McAnany in the MPSC Telecommunications Division. He can be reached by phone at
517-241-6139 or by email at mcananyr@michigan.gov.
